ICESCAPES

 

There is a magical place in Iceland: boulders of ice from the great glacier Vatnajökull crash ashore the pitch black sands. It’s one of the most incredible sights I’ve ever seen. This beach captivated me so completely, I became infatuated by all of the natural beauty and inspiration it provided. I began the Icescapes series on my first trip to Iceland in 2011 and was able to dedicate even more time on a 2014 trip. This series was featured in a December 2014 fine art show and images are currently available for purchase.
