– Time to Roll Up Our Sleeves –

It’s not every day that you get to be a part of something bigger than yourself. Shooting the COVID-19 vaccine promotional campaign for Cone Health was one of those special moments. Having worked with Cone Health before, we are still amazed at the ways they have been able to help their community. Having a small, mobile crew and keeping a light footprint was very important as we were still shooting during a pandemic. Along with the help of Joyride Productions, we were able to showcase two businesses in Greensboro, NC that are taking steps in the right direction thanks to Cone’s distribution plan. A surprise bonus to this already memorable shoot was getting to reconnect with one of the women featured in the campaign whom I knew from Latin dance, 15 years ago! This shoot was particularly unique as we got to combine not only still photographs, but also interviews and b-roll footage to create a promotional campaign that aims to convince more people to get vaccinated and help us return to some sense of “normalcy.”
