FEASTABLES // A Delicious Partnership
– A Candy Brand that’s Sweeping the Nation –
Working with local companies is a huge passion of mine, but when local companies have a national - and international! - footprint, that’s when I really start to perk up. Earlier this year, we were contacted by the team at Feastables, the delicious chocolate brand from the MrBeast camp that’s been exploding in the market. MrBeast wanted to announce their launch in the UK, and in pure MrBeast fashion, they wanted to go big with a fast and furious two-day shoot. I got my whole stable of Cowboys in the mix, and said, let’s do this!
Shot on location in Greenville, NC, we started our first project with Feastables on a sweltering day at the fairgrounds. Extras dressed in the King’s Army garb dotted the landscape and we had a beast of a time running around trying to capture all of the action, while the Feastables team shot video for their social channels. We set up our INOVATIV cart setup on location and we had one of our own Cowboys, Amber Hogan, onsite behind the cart, ensuring the stills were up to snuff. Day two was a thrilling romp through the MrBeast Studios in Greenville, where we shot the whole Beast team in a London-themed setup. After a tight retouching turn around, I’m so proud of the shots that made the cut, and I got to see my work on a global stage.
But our projects with the Feastables team didn’t end there. A couple of weeks later, we did a guerilla shoot outside of a Target with Nolan, to help the brand announce their fabulous partnership with the Target stores (you can pick up the delicious mini-bars right at the check-out line!)
A month or so later, we got to play in a spooky Halloween house setup with the whole gang to promote the soon-to-be best candy on the Halloween block. The art direction onsite was amazing, and meeting the whole gang was so fun - their energy is truly unparalleled.
A few weeks ago, I traveled over to ECU to help the team announce my new favorite sports partnership - Feastables as the Charlotte Hornets jersey patch partner. We got to shoot the whole Beast crew with the Hornets mascot and we brought along our retoucher, DP, PAs - it was a basketball party to say the least. We had some serious basketball inspiration to live up to and I’m thrilled how the dynamic action shots turned out. We used white backgrounds to give the shots an editorial spin, and also touched up the court itself to ensure the Feastables brand really stood out on the physical court.
