– A Captivating Collaboration –

Mindy and Bob Rich own Rich’s USA Foodservice, a family-owned food manufacturing company known for innovative food products sold in retail stores and served in restaurants and institutions. When they were publishing their book, Baked In: How Rich’s Created a Culture of Character, they initially worked with photographer Luke Copping for its images. When he wasn’t available to shoot portraits and interviews of Bob and Mindy for the book’s promotion, he recommended me as a secondary photographer. I’ve always admired and respected Luke’s work, so his recommendation was a huge compliment. It was a pleasure to work with him and the design agency White Bicycle to match his style for a cohesive look, as our images would live side-by-side in the book’s final copy.

Bob and Mindy are a true power couple who share leadership responsibilities as Senior Chairman and Chairman of the company, and working with them at their warm West Virginia home offered a personal glimpse into their relationship that comes through in the still and moving portraits as well as video. The book went on to win Gold and Best of Show at the AAF Buffalo NY Ad Club awards.
